About Me

Victoria Zagursky, MSW, LSW,  Psychotherapist

Hello! My name is Victoria Puleo, and I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I am passionate about providing compassionate and comprehensive support to individuals facing various challenges.

My areas of expertise include working with clients on the autism spectrum (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ support, emotional dysregulation, and facilitating parent support groups, small groups, and individual counseling. I believe in the power of collaboration and tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

In my practice, I draw upon evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Acceptance Identify Move (AIM), and a strengths-based approach. By utilizing these approaches, I strive to empower individuals to develop effective coping strategies, enhance their emotional well-being, and achieve personal growth.

Creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals from all backgrounds is paramount to me. Whether I am working with clients individually or facilitating groups, I strive to foster an environment of trust, respect, and empathy. I believe in the inherent strengths of each person and work collaboratively to help them uncover and harness their unique abilities.

I am excited to continue my journey as a social worker, making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve. Together, we will navigate challenges, explore personal growth, and strive for meaningful change.

I obtained my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Widener University, where I received a comprehensive education in social work principles and practices. As a dedicated professional, I am committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards and staying informed about the latest developments in the field.

I am licensed as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

Current/Previous Job Experiences:

My experience includes over six years of working in a special needs school in Somerset County, NJ. During this time, I provided counseling services to students in middle, and high school. I supported them in overcoming challenges associated with their diagnoses, such as anxiety, negative thoughts, and emotional dysregulation. Additionally, I assisted students in their college preparation and successful transition into the workforce, helping them navigate anxieties and develop the necessary skills to thrive.
